Our program focuses on Take Flight, a comprehensive intervention designed for students with dyslexia and related reading disabilities out of the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia. The interventions and therapies are grounded in the five pillars of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. Our instructional methods are based on diagnostic teaching, utilizing a direct, systematic, cumulative, and multisensory approach for both introduction and practice.
At A Right To Read, we believe that every child has the potential to learn and grow, regardless of their abilities or challenges. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where children can explore their interests, develop their skills, and build meaningful relationships with others.
We take a collaborative and evidence-based approach to intervention, working closely with families and educators to develop individualized plans that are tailored to each child's unique needs and strengths. We use a variety of strategies and techniques to support learning and promote positive behavior, and we are constantly evaluating and adjusting our methods to ensure that we are providing the most effective support possible.
